YUFERING
transforming European Universities and the research and innovation ecosystem by fostering inclusivity, excellence, and collaboration
About the Project

The YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) alliance plays a vital role in advancing the transformation of research and innovation (R&I) in Europe, contributing to the European Commission’s vision of promoting citizen science, societal engagement, and mainstreaming Open Science practices. The project focuses on fostering brain and knowledge circulation, strengthening academia-business collaboration, and enhancing the R&I ecosystem to be both global and local (glocal).
The alliance works to improve and harmonize R&I conditions across Europe, creating inclusive, excellent, and collaborative frameworks for European Universities. By building on established cooperation among YUFE partners, the alliance aims to facilitate flipped knowledge transfer and deployment in society, transforming the way research and innovation are conducted and integrated into broader societal contexts.
